Bennerley Viaduct, Awsworth

The viaduct carried the Great Northern Railway's Derbyshire and Staffordshire railway line across the Erewash valley between Awsworth and Ilkeston and was opened in January 1878. This impressive structure is 1,440 feet long and up to 60 feet high.
